Terms of Use

Effective and last updated: September 22, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to CustomTrading.ai and its account, strategy, market-screening, and brokerage-connection features (the “Service”). “CustomTrading.ai,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of this Service. “You” means the person or organization using it.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement, and be permitted to use the Service and any connected financial services where you live.

If you act for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and these Terms apply to that organization. You may connect only accounts that you own or are expressly authorized to access. Access to this website does not establish eligibility for any brokerage account, investment, or market-data entitlement.

2. What the Service provides

CustomTrading.ai provides software for defining trading rules, screening securities, saving strategies, evaluating signals, and managing supported brokerage connections. Availability depends on the feature, data source, account permissions, and provider setup shown in the workspace.

The current Service does not submit live orders, transfer funds, or hold your money or securities. Connecting a broker, saving a strategy, selecting an action setting, or running an evaluation does not place a trade. Labels for paper orders, order proposals, or automation do not establish that live execution is available.

If we introduce live execution, it will require a supported integration and a separate, explicit authorization process describing the instructions and permissions involved. These Terms alone do not authorize us to trade on your behalf.

3. Investment decisions and risk

The Service provides informational and analytical tools, not personalized investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. We do not act as your broker, investment adviser, portfolio manager, or fiduciary through your use of the Service. A security, signal, example, or strategy shown in the Service is not an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold an investment.

You are responsible for evaluating information, choosing your strategies, deciding whether an investment is appropriate, and reviewing transactions directly with your broker. Trading can cause the loss of your entire investment. Certain products, margin accounts, and leveraged positions can create losses greater than your initial investment.

Past results, hypothetical performance, and generated signals do not predict future returns. No strategy, artificial intelligence feature, rule, alert, or risk setting guarantees a profit, prevents loss, or ensures that an instruction is suitable for your circumstances. Obtain independent professional advice when needed.

4. Accounts and security

Provide accurate account information and keep it current. Protect your password, email account, devices, and sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access. Do not share your account in a way that allows another person to access financial information without permission.

Sign-in with Google or Apple is subject to that provider’s terms. Where verified email addresses match, sign-in methods may access the same CustomTrading.ai account. Your website login and brokerage authorization are separate.

Tell us promptly at accounts@customtrading.ai if you suspect unauthorized access. Change affected credentials and revoke broker authorization directly with the broker when appropriate. Never send us a brokerage password, authorization token, or complete account number by email.

5. Brokerage connections and permissions

When you connect a brokerage, you direct us to communicate with that provider and process the information available through the permissions you grant, solely to provide the connected features. Market scans and strategy price history use EODHD. Brokerage authorization tokens verify and maintain account connections; we may refresh those tokens while authorization remains valid.

Review the broker’s authorization screen and its separate agreements before connecting. The permissions issued by a broker may be broader than the features currently used by this Service. Granting access does not transfer ownership of an account, authorize withdrawals, or appoint us to make discretionary investment decisions.

You can revoke access through the broker’s connected-app or authorization controls. Contact us to request removal of stored connection information. Signing out of CustomTrading.ai does not revoke a broker connection. Removing information from our Service does not close your brokerage account or cancel orders placed outside the Service.

Brokerages and data providers control their own availability, account approvals, permissions, charges, and terms. You must comply with their applicable agreements. A broker’s name, logo, or listing here does not imply endorsement, partnership, regulatory approval, or that its connection is active.

6. Market data, testing, and alerts

Market data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, incorrectly classified, or inaccurate. Market coverage depends on the feeds available and your entitlements; a scan is not a guarantee that every matching security has been identified. Confirm prices, symbols, market hours, and account information through an appropriate independent source before acting.

Examples and evaluation histories may use simulated or generated samples. Such results are not necessarily a replay of actual historical trades and may omit fees, spreads, slippage, liquidity constraints, corporate actions, and execution delays. Do not interpret them as verified performance.

Automated calculations and any AI-assisted output can contain errors or reflect unsuitable assumptions. Review the actual rule settings and results. An alert setting does not guarantee continuous monitoring or delivery. Browser state, network interruptions, timing settings, provider limits, and service outages can prevent or delay a scan or signal. The Service is not a substitute for monitoring positions and risk with your broker.

7. Permitted use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Service for your lawful personal or internal business purposes. You must not:

  • Access another person’s account or data without authorization, impersonate someone, or submit information you do not have permission to use.
  • Bypass authentication, provider permissions, security controls, usage limits, or market-data licensing restrictions.
  • Introduce malicious code, disrupt the Service, or use automated requests in a way that materially burdens it.
  • Use the Service for fraud, market manipulation, unlawful trading, or other illegal activity.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service or third-party market data without the necessary permission, or reverse engineer protected software except where applicable law permits it.

8. Your strategies and intellectual property

You retain your rights in the strategies, settings, and other content you submit. You give us permission to store, process, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate the features you request, maintain and secure the Service, and respond to your support requests. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content or grant us an unrestricted right to publish your private strategies.

We and our licensors retain rights in the Service’s software, design, and other materials. Third-party data and trademarks remain subject to their owners’ rights. Keep your own copies of information you need; the Service is not your broker’s official recordkeeping system.

9. Fees and third-party charges

If we offer a paid feature or subscription, its price, billing terms, and any applicable cancellation terms will be presented before you purchase it. Creating a brokerage connection alone does not authorize an undisclosed CustomTrading.ai charge. You remain responsible for charges imposed separately by your broker, exchange, data provider, internet provider, or other services you choose.

10. Privacy and service communications

Our Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how it is used and disclosed, and the choices available to you. Brokerage authorization and any consent required for particular processing are handled separately; accepting these Terms is not blanket consent to every use of personal information.

We may send account verification, password recovery, security, and other necessary service notices to your account email or through the Service. Keep that email accessible. Elective marketing communications, if offered, will provide the choices required by applicable law.

11. Suspension and ending access

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account closure at accounts@customtrading.ai. Separately revoke brokerage permissions with each broker to stop its authorization of future access.

We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary to address a violation of these Terms, security threats, fraud, legal requirements, provider restrictions, or the discontinuation of a feature. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable and required by law.

Account closure does not change obligations to a broker or other provider. Retention and deletion of information are described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should continue, including ownership, payment obligations already incurred, disclaimers, and liability limits, survive termination.

12. Disclaimers of warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and its data and outputs are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, complete market coverage, successful alert delivery, or any investment result.

These disclaimers do not exclude guarantees or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

13. Limitations of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data arising from use of or inability to use the Service. This includes losses associated with inaccurate data, missed signals, connection failures, or investment decisions based on the Service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising from the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these Terms waives nonwaivable consumer, privacy, or other statutory rights.

14. Changes, disputes, and general terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the revised Terms with an updated effective date and provide additional notice of material changes when required by law. Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law; where affirmative agreement is required, we will obtain it.

If a dispute arises, contact us so we can try to resolve it. This does not restrict either party from seeking relief in a court with jurisdiction or contacting a regulator, and it does not delay any legal deadline. Applicable law determines the governing law and available courts; mandatory protections in your place of residence remain in effect.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and any separately accepted feature-specific terms govern your use of the Service, without replacing your independent agreements with brokerage or other third-party providers.

15. Contact

For questions about these Terms, account closure, or the Service, contact CustomTrading.ai at accounts@customtrading.ai. Include a brief description of your request and the email associated with your account, but do not include passwords, access tokens, or complete financial account numbers.
